Institutional Framework
ASEAN governments have recently taken a more comprehensive approach towards building appropriate PPP environments. Recent reforms have focused on enhancing the institutional environment for PPPs by, for example, establishing new PPP units and regulators. Further improvements are still required, however, to reduce legal uncertainty and risks.
